The Roux coat of arms

Currently the exact and correct coat of arms is in dispute.
Thus far, three versions has been proposed by three different members of the Roux family. If you have any knowledge on the subject or interest in heraldy, please leave comments on the talk page of this article.

Nickolas Johannes Roux (1969/04/16 - ) says that this coat of arms has been displayed in homes of family members of his for many years.

David Gerhardus Roux (1968/04/23 - ) states that this coat of arms was handed down to him from his grandfather.

Pieter Roux from Pretoria states that this shield was used on the cover of a booklet (dated to around 1924) about the family Roux and the memorial to Antonie Roux on the border between the farms Keerweder and La Dauphine in Franshhoek.
