All images you upload should be compatible with our copyleft or be in the Public Domain
- They should thus be
- Yours to license under the GNU Free Documentation License or
- Already licensed by someone else under the GNU Free Documentation License or
- Be in the Public Domain
Any material that constitutes a copyright infringement will be deleted on sight.
- Exceptions
An exception to the above will be made for 1 personal photo per RouxWiki member to be used solely on the members User page. That image may be uploaded with a more restrictive license or with All rights reserved to indicate that it may not be reused by others.
A license template must be selected when uploading images.
Size
The wiki has limited disk space, but historically important images sould be uploaded in the biggest size possible to ensure that they can easily be reused.
Privacy
- Don't upload photos of living relatives without their consent. Refer to the Privacy policy for more information.
